The jury consists of leading musicians, professors and associate professors from St. Petersburg, Moscow and foreign conservatories, artists from the Mariinsky, Bolshoi Theaters and the D.D. Shostakovich Philharmonic.
The gala concerts of the competition were held in the walls of the majestic Hall of the St. Petersburg Chapel and in the historic Hermitage Theater.
The performances of the winners of the competition invariably become a vivid event in the cultural life of St. Petersburg and attract numerous fans of classical music.
Pianists with special education, as well as students of music universities, are allowed to participate.
The competition accepts accompaniment for soloists, instrumental and choral ensembles, and choreography (1-3 different pieces).
The duration of the performance is no more than 10 minutes.

The free program of the candidate's choice is no more than 20 minutes.
Conducting under the piano with the concertmaster is allowed.
Recordings of conducting with any instrument, ensemble (instrumental, choral) are accepted.
The recording should show the candidate in the process of conducting, as well as the concertmaster, orchestra, choir, and ensemble musicians.

Candidates specializing in "composers" should attach to the application sheet music of their own compositions or their performance (no more than 3 works)
All works submitted for the Competition must have been written no earlier than 2000.
Works in the following genres can be nominated for the Competition:
– A work for one or more instruments /voices
– Opera music or operetta music (short work or fragments of a large score with the participation of soloists-singers);
– Symphonic works of small and large forms for orchestra;
– Variety and symphonic work (divertimento, rhapsody and other genres of variety and symphonic music);
– Choral music (a polyphonic piece of music performed by one or more choral groups without the accompaniment of an orchestra or instrumental composition or with accompaniment).
– Film music, music for movies;
– Electronic modern music, arrangements;

- The performance should be uploaded to Vimeo, Google or Yandex Disk.
- The entry must be available before the last day of the contest and the announcement of the results.
- The name must consist of the participant's name and the name of the contest. The description must specify the executable program.
- Parts of the work can be filmed separately (However, cuts are prohibited during the work)
- The silhouette of the performer must be fully visible.
- The video quality should allow for a fair assessment of the performance (preferably HD quality or higher)
The jury has the right to divide, award and not award prizes, and award participants with special diplomas (prizes).
The jury's decision is recorded in a protocol and is not subject to review.
The organizers of the contest are not responsible to third parties for the decisions of the jury regarding the awarding of prizes.
After paying the registration fee, the participant receives his unique number
under which he is listened to and discussed by the jury.
The names of the winners will be announced only after the results of the competition are summed up.
Vocals: matching the repertoire to the age category and the capabilities of the performer, a sense of rhythm, culture and stage movement, purity of intonation and sound quality, beauty of timbre and strength of voice, ensemble structure, originality of repertoire.
Conducting: convincing interpretation of the performed works, musicality, artistry of the performer, mastery of conducting and performing techniques, mastery of the methodology of rehearsal work with the orchestra, creative contact with the team.
Composers: artistic level of the work, composing technique, expressiveness, originality of the works, compliance of the declared work with the age characteristics of the performers
Concertmasters: the interaction of the concertmaster with the soloist, dynamic balance with the soloist, the level of mastery of the instrument, expressiveness, artistry
The winners of the competition will be invited to a gala concert to be held in the new Stravinsky Chamber Hall at the Mariinsky Theatre.
The competition includes 10 cash prizes in each category - € 200.
The prize "The best teacher of the Stravinsky Competition" is € 100. It is awarded to the teacher whose students will be awarded the highest number of 1st degree Laureates.
The award "The Best concertmaster of the Stravinsky Competition" is € 100.
- Electronic diplomas with signatures of the full composition of the jury of the competition
are sent within two weeks after the publication of the protocol of the results of the competition.
